This allows dirt and grime to get stuck behind them in places like the kitchen and bathroom making it impossible to clean. Anyways...I will say the community is nice, quiet, and pet friendly but the one thing you will regret that you're probably not thinking about is your NES bill. What you wont see in the pics are how BADLY the units are insulated. The apt doors (incl. patios/deck) are OLD with ABSOLUTELY NO WEATHER STRIPS so in the winter all that heat that you're trying to warm your apt with is going STRAIGHT out the cracks. You can put your hand near them and feel your NES bill increasing by the second as your old AC struggles to heat your holy apt - I can literally see light under my door. My NES bill got as high as $240 this past Jan in my 650 sqft unit. If you think Im lying. Move in. I had to use a space heater for the rest of the winter.Also theyre throwing up another apt complex on the access road drive as I write this. Cabot Dr is a skinny two lane road with no main road exits on either end for about two miles. When those apartments get built TRAFFIC is going to be insanePROSNice, quiet, pet-friendly neighborhoodAffordable RentDowntown commute not too badTons of shopping within 3 miles radius.Friendly leasing officeCONSOld APTHIGH electric bills/NO insulation (I cannot make this up, if you think I'm exaggerating see for yourself)Lots of Bugs in the house (Huge brown spiders come through cracks, daily earwigs - pile up in light fixtures)Poor roadsMaintenance Team unresponsive - Either mgmt/leasing is lying or they are insubordinate. The office staff is friendly and seems to work to ensure our needs are met. However, the maintenance crew is e Read Moreither overwhelmed or lazy. We've been living here 2 years and maintenance response time and the results of there work continues to get worse. To date, we've reported low water pressure in the upstairs bathroom and a crack in the ceiling of the master bedroom. The crack has been there for months and its been over a week on the water pressure.

The apartment had very uneven floors, doorways were all slanted and doors would not stay open. Flooring had na Read Moreils sticking out of it. Kitchen lighting went out multiple times throughout the year we were there. Staff were easy to get a hold of. However any maintenance requests required multiple reminders before anything was done. The glass in the recreation area should be covered or given an opaque tint so that people exercising are not on display for the office staff or anyone who goes in.

Normally it's been good but I've had an issue for nearly two years with a patio screen that has not been taken Read More care of. I've asked about possible credit but have largely been ignored. Also my places floods sometimes when it rains and have been promised people would come to look at reinforcing the foundation, but nothing has been done. This has also been ongoing more than two years.
