I cannot express how grateful I am to have found this place I have now called home for 2 + years. The manager, Read More Katie, communicates well with the residents. She is very approachable and easy to talk to, which is important to me. I feel like I am well taken care of and I can't imagine moving to any other apartment here in Austin!!

As a current resident I will strongly recommend that if you are considering moving to Barton Creek Villas - do Read More NOT do it. I have lived here since 2014 and until mid 2017 I loved living here. Now I absolutely hate it. The rent increased $120/month in 2017 for 1bed/1bath and they are raising rates again in 2018, but quality has not improved at all. There are also constantly increasing ridiculous fees such as a HOA fee and community electric fees. The payment portal is not very user friendly and you guessed it - you are charged a fee to pay online EFT. When I renewed my lease in April 2017(much to my regret and for what will be the last time). I asked for a dishwasher that gets my dishes clean and to have my garage door insulated in order to renew. I was told that they could meet my requests. Eight months later, the dishwasher finally was replaced with another cheap builder grade model and it still does not get the dishes clean. According to many of my neighbors, they have the same problem. The mgmt solution to insulate the garage door in this "luxury" apartment was to give me a piece of foam to do it myself. That was after several months of nagging AND not enough to get the job done the first time so more months of nagging to get enough to get the job done myself. These are just a couple examples of a very long list of why not to move here. I tried contacting the Connor Group with my frustration - I got a lip service response and have been brushed off and ignored by them since...Save yourself the aggravation and do not lease from Connor @ Barton Creek Villas. If you do lease or renew your lease be sure to get a copy of the entire signed lease to avoid future misunderstandings and that you get in writing an end date any requirements to renew -with the contingent that if the deadline is not met you will be released from your lease with no penalty. If you have not signed a lease, save yourself the aggravation and lease from a newer apartment nearby.
