          As long-term residents, we enjoyed most things about these old buildings. Yes, you can hear the person above you walk around. Yes, there are no covered parking spaces at all throughout the complex. Yes, this complex lost power during the freeze of Feb 2021. Yes, this complex has had a number of water issues: pipes breaking causing daytime water shut off to both select buildings and complex wide, sewage back up in some buildings. Yes, there is no safe place for children to play unless you want them running around the in the greenbelt that goes through the property--something to consider if you have small children. Yes, there are known units throughout the property that do experience water intrusions. And as of January 2022, properties have to list whether or not flooding due to excess rainfall has occurred. Be sure to ask beforehand. While management has done their best to bring all the buildings back up to code (replacing the wooden stairwells and banisters) and added a new paint job, anything looks better with a splash of color...just like putting lipstick on a pig.

          A woman called me on a Friday and told me I could come on Monday but I could come and maybe "The Manager" could show me around. I actually came on a Tuesday and was asked to wait outside the office in the cold while the woman in the office finished with the customers who were there. I waited over 20 minutes before leaving. In those 20 minutes there were a few people coming to the office to make complaints or resolve issues and I could hear them just being told "The Manager" would take care of it. I also found that this mysterious manager mentioned negatively many times in the reviews of this complex. Needless to say i never bothered to take a tour.
