Worst place I've ever had to live. Northland takes all the profit and puts none back into the apartments, unle Read Moress it's on the outside just to bring new clients in. Once moved in they could care less about you. People in the office are lazy and could care less about your personal living situation. Maintenance works very had fixing old appliances with minimal resources. Never move here. Office managment changes every few months.

I still live at Village Oaks..... and would like to add the young lady is correct. They allow packages to be Read Morestolen and take no responsibility. So now since they cannot be bothered with becoming responsible we will be the only Northland community that has to make arrangements for packages or pick them up at the post office. The management has gone down since 2013 2014 like she said as well the staff does not appear to care. And this weekend the hot water went out in my building Friday evening and its Monday morning and we still have no hot water and the complex has only advised after I made an emergency maintenance call that. They are aware have contacted a Plummer and they need a part from Houston but it wont be here until Tuesday, so the hot water may be back on Wednesday. First of this is a violation of Austin Code and makes my building an unsafe space. Second you cant call a different Plummer who may have the part sooner Thirdly why does it take 72 hours to get a part from Houston..... its a two hour drive. So this is a warning if your thinking about moving here. The complex is beautiful the area is great but the staff for this Northland Community is just sorry and lazy. Try a different Northland community on Jollyville this one is the worst.

I know there have been many mixed reviews by people who have lived at village Oaks. I think the location is t Read Morehe best. The apartment itself is spacious but you can tell it's aged. The amount i'm paying is decent considering the rise in living cost in Austin. I want to renew my lease in April but am afraid how high they may raise the rent as previous tenants experiences have not been the best. The office staff are just okay. I haven't had too much interactions with them but they seem decent.
