Fairfax Apartments

The manager here is not understanding of residents like myself who have lived there for over 3 years. When everyone else received 2 parking tags when the new guidelines about parking were made, she would not even issue one for the 3rd car even though it could have parked outside where there are 5 additional parking spaces or so outside the gate. On top of this, she did not give us our own 2 parking (back to back) spaces and we have lived there much longer than other tenants.

The building is in a great location with a short drive to shopping, malls and restaurants. The neighborhood is nice too and adjacent to Highland Park. The manager is responsive to repair requests and the maintenance staff is great. The building is older so you have to accept the quirks. For example the bathrooms do not have electrical outlets. But for the location the rents are great.

Garbage disposal was not working. Fixed within the next business day.

We moved here just a little over a month and a 1/2 ago and so far it’s been wonderful. We had a few hiccups but Marissa and Daniel were immediately right on top of it. Our neighbors are very sweet and there are even some familiar faces (from our old place) Our new space is very roomy and the complex itself is quiet. Looking forward to laying out by the pool when I get some free time.

I’ve lived here for a few years and have seen change in management but our new manager Marissa is the best over all! I came to her with concerns I had and she listened to me and helped resolve them. Our maintenance Daniel is the best, I always see him cleaning up around our apartment every morning!

Kitchen sink was backed up on a Sunday. Daniel with Maintenance was out the next morning and had a plumber clean out the entire building lines. Great service!

The apartment complex is a bearing old building and needs a lot of upgrades
