It meets the basic criteria of apartment dwelling. The sound insulation is very poor but that is to be expecte Read Mored by a complex constructed in the late 70's. It is mostly quiet but you will definitely know when any of your neighbors are home. If you get home really late you may have to park very far from your unit. Be cautious when exiting as a lot of people use the exit as an entrance and vice versa. Keep boots or closed shoes in your car for rainy days as the complex easily gets light flooding. Keep up with Sport Events taking place in the Reliant to avoid traffic that will prevent you from exiting your apartments in a timely manner. If you plan to lease here aim to arrive before the office opens to get parking and to be first in line. The office is always busy. The road these apartments are on is severely damaged so be careful when driving to and from the apartments. My unit has wear and tear that was just painted over but as an attempt to compensate they have decent fixtures to distract you from what may be deteriorating cabinets that were probably coated with polyurethane and painted over. Don't expect anything to be unblemished.

You can hear and actually feel no exaggeration your neighbor's every step if you're on the fir Read Morest floor , and also smell everything they're cooking or smoking. You can hear every loud conversation and argument and music. The walls and ceiling is very thin and I've honestly never experienced that before at any other apartment or house I've lived in.
The parking situation for guests is not well thought out at all. Even if you have 2-3 lease holders, each unit only gets ONE visitor parking permit. So if you want to host a get together, asks all your guests to ride in one car, if that is even possible.
I had several cracks throughout the walls of my unit for a long period of time and when they came to repair them, they were simply painted over. They informed us that the foundation was bad before we moved in BUT that it had been repaired and that our unit would be brand new . It wasn't.
I started renting in August 2014 and my starting rate was supposed to be 830 for a 2 bed 2 bath floor plan. I was not able to see my unit before my actual move in day because I kept being told it wasn't ready and we ended up receiving a unit with washer and dryer connections which we didn't ask for so each month, wa're charged a laundry convenience fee which made the rent 880. It is now January 2016 and rent is 930 and because my last renewal was only for 6 months, should I renew again, they let me know it would increase again to 989.00.
The entrance gate never works so any one can come in when they please. The property upkeep is decent. There's no resident lounge or real fitness center. Just a cheaper alternative where it won't cost them anything to maintain, similar to an outdoor kids jungle gym, if you will.
You are only going to pay for the convenient location. Nothing else is worth the money here. I would not cross them off a recommendation list if someone simply wanted to live within the loop.

There are terrible noises inside the house. Construction quality is poor. You will not only hear neighbors pla Read Moreying music, arguing etc but walking around the house also will be noisy. You will find pests every where. Machines in the Laundry are mostly broken in the weekend. People are using one or two machines in the weekend. In the rainy days you will have extra swimming pools in walkways and some areas in the Parking. You need to have good balancing skills not to get dirty. You may qualified for olympic games if you pass these pools without any dirts on your clothes. If you are single and working in Medical Centre you may want to chose living here. Overall I don't recommend for Friend, Couples and families. In the end, I want to use this opportunity to thank few office staff and all maintenance crews which are friendly and professional. I can't say the same thing for some office staff.
