Moved here to be closer to work and school, and have had nothing but issues since moving in. First roaches, wh Read Moreich we are still dealing with six months later, and now rats. The office staff is not helpful, show no accountability, and have mostly blamed us for their failures to deal with our concerns. Every attempt at fixing the pest issue has been followed with "Well it takes time" and then after waiting for things to get better they keep getting worse. It feels like they're telling us to leave them alone for a month and then have them spray again, while we deal with roaches all over the house the entire time. Have requested to move to a different unit that is not filled with pests but the staff has not given us any sign of even considering that.If ending the lease only cost an extra month's rent we would have been gone months ago, but of course the full term would be due, and that is just not financially doable for us. I've been wanting to adopt a pet for months but can't justify giving this complex any more money, because I don't feel they deserve it. The complex is filthy, and not well maintained. Trash on the ground is a common sight, the communal laundry room smelled like the machines have not been cleaned/replaced in years, the fitness center is filled with out of order machines, and missing dumbells. Multiple incidents with homeless people since we've moved in. Hopefully this saves at least a few people from dealing with the same big headache that living here has caused us : )

I moved in July. I have been here almost six months. Grounds are beautiful, and apartment is nice. Views of th Read Moree canal. Far from perfect. In the first month I found rat droppings. And then I found rats. I had to call and put in service requests to get the rodent issue resolved. They finally placed glue traps. They found and filled holes. The rodents found the glue traps and were stuck. On two occasions I woke up to the squealing of the rats. I called around 10pm asking that someone come remove the traps. But Its not an emergency. No one came by. In month three there was a recurrence of rodents. Again with the service requests/glue traps. Month five was a doozy. It was raining. On a Wednesday I put in a service request to report a small leak in the kitchen. Maintenance came by, looked at it, and said hed come back after lunch to see where it was coming from. He never returned. Friday morning, leak had spread and four feet of ceiling acoustic was peeling from the ceiling. I put in a service request. I was leaving for a trip, but I expected someone would be out that day. I returned late Monday night to the ceiling heavily dripping water, everything was soaked and covered in goopy ceiling acoustic. I called and emailed the manager to get someone to come out to fix the leak, and clean up the acoustic. It took days to get the done. I then tried to discuss reimbursement. I never heard back. Month six. Saturday night I start smelling dirty diaperevery time the AC blows. The smell gets worse on Sunday night, service request entered. No one showed up on Monday. I called, and put in another service request because by this time the smell was so disgusting and strong that I was nauseous. Its now Tuesday night, the smell is masked by tons of Febreze; no one has come by.

I am not seeing any issue with the location or infrastructre of the building. It is the know fact that the bui Read Moreldings are very old and one cannot expect them to be like brand new. I see a serious problem with the staff employed in the office. They are very are very arrogant and treat people very badly especially who leave there for longer period. Maintenance is very bad (i dont blame the maintenance guys as it depends on the staff how they want to provide the maintenance requests).
