I enjoyed the three years at Sixteen Fifty. The staff was professional and made you feel welcomed to the community. If i ever move back to the area, my first call will be here. I would love to live here again.

Leasing staff I will say is AMAZING and extremely polite, professional, and seem very genuine. As far as the apartments go, not working out too well. HVAC system is over 10 years old, get ready for HIGH UTILITY BILLS along with their high rates for rent. Had some techs come over to check the A/C and caught them adding freon to the system just before coming into the apartment to check for internal temperatures!!! I measured with a gage before they came and was getting 69 to 70 degrees max output!!! An HVAC system is suppose to run at 55 degrees in order to combat and maintain a cold temperature inside considering Texas heat. I have leaky valves in the piping in both showers and paid out of pocket to fix.

Too expensive for a 2 bedroom apartment. Upper level apartments have too many stairs to climb to get into them.

I am a former resident and friend of a current resident and all I can say is new residents and potential residents beware! The new management company; Steadfast is now turning this property into a smoking property. My wonderful friends who live there now are having an extremely hard time with the management now since they just found out they are in a smoking building and a smoker recently moved in. They have lived there for over two years and just now are being told they live in a smoking building.Well after they complained to management and even the corporate office, it turns out Steadfast does not have smoking and non smoking buildings even though they were told in email form by Denise that "yes, they are in a smoking building." They are turning the place into a sort of don't ask, don't tell complex. The signs that are (at this point in time) on the sides of almost half of the complexes there stating this building is a non smoking building, well those signs are coming down soon.They have not even offered to relocate my friends or even given them the option to move out without thousands of dollars to break the lease. It is just terrible that now they are submitted to this smoking environment with no options. They told me that the staff even inspected their apartment and tried to smell the smoke but there were no fumes at the time. Basically nothing will be done for my friends so I am just giving you all warning, unless you smoke, do not move in here. They do not care!
