Sonterra Blue

I was nervous about moving to a new city, but the staff at Sonterra Blue Apartments made me and my wife feel welcome from the moment we arrived. I had to move quickly from northeast Texas to San Antonio due to my new job, and I had little time to find a new place. However, the team at Sonterra Blue went out of their way to make sure I was taken care of, from the first phone call all the way to the day we moved in. Jessica, who I believe is the property manager, was extremely helpful in answering all my questions and making sure I was taken care of. She responded to my emails and calls quickly and ensured that everything was in order. On move-in day, she personally greeted me and made sure we had everything we needed. Catalina, who helped me with the tour and walked me through all the amenities, was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. She showed me around the pool and gym, and she answered all my questions. I was tired and felt sheepish about asking questions, but Catalina's patience and friendly demeanor made me feel at ease. I really wanted the place to make a good impression on my wife, who was a little nervous about moving away from her family and friends. Catalina's enthusiasm and friendliness really helped ease my wife's mind, and she loved the place immediately. And the unit itself is absolutely perfect. The open floor plan is just right, the balcony is a lovely little retreat, and the bedrooms are very roomy. My wife and I couldn't be happier with the place, and we're looking forward to settling in. It has all of the amenities we need, and the staff has been wonderful. We can't wait to enjoy the pool and make some new friends. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great place to live in San Antonio.

DO NOT RENT HERE. The units are infested with bugs, the front gate is always broken, maintenance and management take weeks to get their act together and complete service requests, at least a third of the lights around the complex do not work, so it is very dark at night, the complex has had multiple car break ins (probably due to them taking weeks to get the front gate fixed - it may work for two days and then its broken again), they will give you BS excuses as to why things arent getting done, they will mislead you and con you into signing their contract, and they switch managers every few months. (So far Ive encountered Cordelia, Bryan, and Kayla since being here for 9 months). I could go on for days about the condition of the property, the units, and my experience with staff from this horrendous company. SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!

Same management company as cypress at stone oak and they dont maintain anything and will badger you for rent and not fix anything.

Fees are the new way to make money. New fees include $45 per car, $50 for trash, $13 for common area, $50 for the washer and dryer that they state they provide. They also mentioned that their lease agreement allows them to change the fees at will. Old residents are being charged some of the new fees and our lease says that is not allowed. Brought it to managements when I paid last months rent and still have not received an answer. One week, residents cars are being towed because the tag fell down ($300 impound fee). Next week the towing is suspended and you cant get a car towed out of your space when you are paying $75 for a covered parking space. Upstairs neighbor in same size unit was offered a new rate $100 less than the offer I was told. Between the new offer and all of the fees, my rent would increase $6000 in one year.
