From the second my wife and I walked in we knew that we had found exactly where we belonged and exactly what we were looking for. Exceptional greeting from the office attendant,Stephanie. Although there were a couple of other families who were also interested,Stephanie made each and every one of us feel as though we were the only family present. Hats off to Stephanie and,thank you to all of those super friendly residents that stopped and took the time to answer my wife and I questions.We absolutely fell in love with the Addison Apartments and both my wife and I can only hope and pray that we will be given the opportunity to become permanent residents of such an outstanding apartment building The Addison Apartments.. In December 2022, the property was sold to a new management team. Despite our initial optimism, we have found that this new management is the worst we have experienced during our time living in San Antonio. The new staff in the leasing office seems to lack basic knowledge, as every time we ask them a question, they tell us to contact the manager. However, when we try to schedule a meeting with her, we are told that her schedule is too busy and that we need an appointment. We have not been able to meet with her at all. The gate call box has been out of order for more than a month, which means that we have to go downstairs to open the car gate for any visitors or deliveries. The back car gate does not work at all, and we cannot use it to exit the apartment complex. Many times, the front gate also fails, and we have to park outside the complex and walk inside. With the new management, all public rooms such as the top roof, lounge room, and playground close at 10 PM even on weekends. A police officer hired by the management comes to kick us out of these rooms at 10 PM, and if we try to negotiate, he threatens us with his weapon. The management promised to install a Parcel Pending Locker to keep our packages safe until we pick them up, but we have not seen any sign of it yet. Once, a package was stolen from my front door because the shipper left it there. Unfortunately, there are no security cameras in the building, so we could not determine who took it. There are only two elevators and two stairs, but the stairs are closed by a password that we do not know. Therefore, we always have to use the elevators, which are often dirty due to dogs. Many times, the door of the second elevator does not close, and we are forced to use the other one. Considering that there are more than 120 apartments in the building, this is extremely inconvenient. Finally, the fire alarm system is also faulty, as it has gone off without cause on several occasions.
