      It's a nice community -- they just spent a fortune remodeling the Leasing Office even though there are other areas that badly need basic maintenance/upgrading. Even though it's a "gated community" the front gate is always left open throughout the night. The emergency/overnight maintenance people take a long time to come when they're called and are not usually very helpful...but the maintenance workers that are here on a daily basis are very friendly and helpful. The apartments themselves LOOK nice, but they were cheaply "upgraded." The cabinets are constantly falling off their hinges, there is a huge gap between the floors and the baseboards (there was probably carpet before and they replaced it with a cheap, wood-looking vinyl laminate material), the bathtub coating is peeling off because they decided to paint it instead of replacing the entire tub, and we have an issue with mold around our window sills because the ventilation isn't all that good. Not to mention the monthly fees are always changing -- it's never the same each month and I honestly have no idea what most of the "fees" are for.

      The complex is older and just okay. Not much stands out in comparison to other places I've lived. It's a little behind in ways. Maintenance takes forever and I never know when they come and actually do anything. Automatic rent payments cost $10 even through a checking account! It'd be nice if it was free for savings or checking. The website for residence isn't user friendly. It be nice if we could put work orders online. And look at rent. Maybe monthly community letters? Fix the gates sooner

      They are always super quick about getting everything fixed. The staff is very friendly.

      The apartment complex has been almost everything I had expected when signing the lease. The only thing that was a little surprising were monthly maintenance/security fee's which change every month and when it comes to security the gate is always broken and I never see the guard that is supposed to be patrolling at night.

      I have lived in other apartment communities, and I must say that I have enjoyed living here at Preston Hollow I did sign my lease for one more year but I will be moving not because I don't enjoy living here I will be buying a home this year. The grounds are clean, and staff is great Thank you Preston Hollow
