Has overall been a fairly reliable place to live. The few maintenance issues that have arisen in the apartment were promptly addressed and resolved by staff. Interior is average, carpeting is on the outdated side. Gas fireplace is a nice touch. Refrigerator is normal. Stove and oven are functional (electric burners). Insulation is a concern in the winter; I live in a corner apartment - the bedroom (located on the corner) is noticeably colder than living room. Unfortunately no recycling on site.

The manager is wonderful. Everything gets handled in a timely manner. I enjoy the area very much as everything is around conveniently.

Had several issues with emergency maintenance on various occasions. Office management is good, but could improve - high turnover rate. The fees are absolutely outrageous. We already pay a ton in rent (over market for what you get), and in addition, there are about $100 - $150 in fees every time. The electric bill was around $80 - $100 and we rarely used heat/AC. The cost of living at Park Capitol is too much. The water used on the landscaping wasteful and the painting was inconvenient.

I loved the layout of my apartment, as well as the location. However, there were many frustrating maintenance issues, such as when the garage door was broken, the side entrance door wouldn't work and no one fixed my plumbing when I reported a clog and it flooded my kitchen.
