Overall, it's been a great first apartment. We love the dog parks and the doggy wash area! For the most part i Read Moret's quiet and no one bothers you. Like every place, it has it's flaws but they're not great enough for us to want to move.

Living here has been mostly a nightmare. Let's start from the beginning.
About a year ago we applied t Read Moreo live here, we had just moved from Canada so we needed a cheap place to live. My wife came and got a tour and the apartments weren't bad, and the non renovated units are in our small budget. So we applied and for accepted with a move in date for the 15th of June. We tried emailing them several times to obtain more information about the move in process but nobody ever responded, so I had to come into the office in order to get some answers. They had rented out the same unit we had been promised! So we had no place to live, however they did offer us the more expensive 'renovated' unit. After much expressing ourselves they finally opened up a unit for us to move in 3 days later. On the day of the move we were given our keys... However they did not work, and again, and finally after an hour we got the doors open and we were able to unload. We noticed that night that the hot water didn't work as well as the kitchen sink leaked, as well as cigarette burns on counters and holes and claw marks on doors.
Finally this week we are going to be moving out, and I have lost my sanity. We never received a notice that our lease was about to be up, luckily we went in 60 days before to close our lease. They also never told us that because we have auto pay, they charged us a full months rent even though we move out in the middle of the month. I spoke with the manager and she said she came rewind is the money until we receive our safety deposit back 30-60 days after we move out.
There is ZERO communication between the management and the renters. If you ever call or email them, you will never get a response. We had to physically take in our papers for our new place because they refused to respond over email.
If I could rate this place 0/5 I would.

Moving is stressful as it is but Somerset Village made it OVER stressful! Some employees were very unprofessio Read Morenal and also very unorganized, They had me back in forth in the office! I ended up speaking with the manager who thankfully was very professional, friendly & alot of help. However I highly doubt that I would recommend these apartments to family or friends.
