Hermitage Hill is located right off of 395 in a great location of Alexandria where you have a great bike trail where you could ride straight to the Shirlington where restaurants and shops are just steps away!

I've only been here 2 weeks and I hate it. Parking is scarce. There's no park, no pool, no amenities really (b Read Moreesides the laundry room where it costs $4.75 per load and it always smells like urine down there). There's a tiny little gym but it's only open when the leasing office is open (very inconvenient) and they habitually close 10-15mins early. Trash collects and sits at the dumpsters. It's a real eyesore. Then to top it all off there's mice!...and the "pest control service" is the office giving you sticky pads. The only good thing is this place is very cheap compared to other complexes in the area...but you get what you pay for.

Overall I am happy and comfortable living here with the exception of a few issues. I would love to have washer Read Mores and dryers in all the apartments since we are now paying for water, have a secured building where you need a key card or password to enter, and offer upgrades in all the units not just the moved out units. Offer painting and replacement of carpet for residents that have been here for more than 10yrs. Also you could offer carpet cleaning services to residents who signs and annual lease. Could also have more than two washers and dryers in laundry facilities if you don't provide washer and dryers in the apartment units and maybe keep the laundry room locked so not just anyone could colette in from other buildings to use the machines both the back door and laundry door should be locked and you have to have a key to enter it.
