Coming up on our 4th year here and they want to raise the rent even though they haven't once upgraded anything in our unit but "the decision is made by corporate" ok well tell me how to contact them myself if you don't want to hear my mouth. We used to have a security officer, but they "chose not to renew the contract" so where does that money go? I pay for a reserved space for when I work late but the tow company is so far out that it takes them an hour to get here so I'm stuck waiting in my car until someone shows up. Told all units would get washer/dryer in unit LAST YEAR and nothing happened. Currently updating the gym even though the hours are restricted due to COVID for what? Some maintenance guys are great and some never show up, probably forever short staffed. The area itself is nice, Costco, Walmart, Target, banks, food, etc. but they're clearly thriving off of that instead of putting work into the complex.

Thank you for your review. We do offer newly renovated units which would include a washer and dryer and we would be happy to discuss the availability with you. Do to the level of renovations that we do, residents are unable to remain in their units while we renovate. The gym has had restrictive hours in an effort to follow CDC guidelines and keep all of our residents safe.

This place is over priced and undeserving of anyones hard earned money. Since we've live here it's neen nothing but horrid. The door is aupp2 to bw locked and secure, somwone keeps jamming aomething into thw lock to keep it open so people come and at will. The management here habe no clue what customer service is or customer relations. And when you make a complaint they retaliate against you or try to bully you into silence. There are bugs regardless of how clean you keep your home. Maintenance is sub-par at best. We had mold and instead of fixing the issue they just painted over it... It is now growing again. The claim they change the air filters... Yet when I look the filters arw disgusting and look like the haven't been changed since the place was built. Don't move here... As soon as this lease is up we are gone... If we could leave aooner we would. But the charge you so muxh it is impossible to end you lease. This place sucks!

I think the rental rate is far too much for just a fair to average looking apartment community. Although I have lived here for 10 years I will make this my last year due to the rodent problem. That is something that I can't tolerate. I am also still waiting for someone to come and address the issue in my apartment---it has been over a week. I had to go out and buy mouse traps (3) and set them in my apartment. I caught a small gray mouse and photographed it for my records. I think that the apartment complex should be taking care of this instead of me having to rid the rodents.

Mount Vernon is a wonderful community to live. Though it's less than half mile from Richmond Hwy, you hardly hear the traffic noise. Mount Vernon is family friendly and most of the neighbors speak to each other. I love the security features of key-access to the apartment building and patrol services. The Contact Center is an added asset to living here because someone is always there to respond to any problem you have relating to your home. I am pleased with the staff and would recommend future residents to consider living here.
