I think Uheights is a wonderful place to live. The people who work in the office are wonderful and the maintenance guys take care of everything. It is an incredibly comfortable place to live.

I would not recommend this place to ANYONE! Its overpriced and very dirty. If you are a resident or are considering moving here, try another place because this place isnt it. The management makes this place seems like its high and mighty because it has a pool and comes with water, sewer and trash. The pools are always dirty, and trash is always on the ground. Cars are always honing their horns, children are always in the middle of the street and the pot holes are horrible. The management does not care and I would not anyone to come to this place.

This would be excellent except for the bus service. We rented based on your advertised claim that there is bus service provided by the University. That is not entirely true. There is bus service while classes are in session and never during the weekend (though other apartment complexes offer it). For most of the year there is no bus service. That is unfortunate and you should not make the claim - or- as with other apartment complexes provide year round service.

Thank you for sharing your comments. Unfortunately, the schedule of the Colonnade Shuttle is set by the UVA Department of parking and Transportation. On our website under Community and Colonnade Shuttle, it does state the times that the bus is not available. We too wish the bus were available year round, every day, but until the department changes their schedule, we are pleased to offer the service to our residents free of charge as often as we can. The apartment complex has a terrible maintenance request process; they really need a system. The complex is also dirty and does nothing about complaints about cigarettes and trash covering stairwells. The complex advertises to students, but is filled with large families. The complex does not enforce its own rules about broken down vehicles and smoking/drinking/loud music at the pool. The laundry room is nearly always dirty and the machines broken. We are moving out for these reasons.

Thank you for sharing your comments. We have added additional staff for the sole purpose of cleaning the hallways. We have approximately 50% students and some families too. If a family are qualified, they are welcome to live in the community too. We are awaiting all new machines in the laundry rooms and we are planning to add a pool monitor to help to keep order in the pool area. If these things are accomplished, we hope you will reconsider your move. Thank you again for your comments.

1. People in the neighborhood gather almost everyday right in front of my unit, act as if it is a private front yard or something. 2. Floor is too squeaky. 3. No UVA bus starting from the exam period to the end of break. 4. Most of all, the apartment is overpriced, so I'm considering to move out.
