    I have numerous complaints about this property and the adjacent lofts.My vehicle was towed because it was parked over the line at the end of the furthest row in their parking area. The area that my vehicle crossed into was dead space that was not by any means another parking space nor was it obstructing any traffic or emergency services. The contract says tenants' vehicles may be towed if the vehicle is double parked, but I have yet to see how my vehicle crossing over into dead space is considered double parking. Management tells me that there are 6 billion people in this world and it is impossible to define their terms so that there is no misunderstanding with anyone--it is comforting to know how much they respect their tenants. Cost me $150 and a lost day of work.The noise ordinance at southern express lofts limits loud noise from its tenants between the hours of 9pm and 8am daily, yet the property owners can host parties in the coffee shop below on weekends that last well near midnight without any tenants consent. Also, the coffee shop in the area below has no discretion when it comes to these limits as employees behavior will wake you up at 5am. Neither really bothers me, but it's the principle of respecting your tenants. Then management tells me it is my responsibility to complain rather than theirs to prevent the issue.I regrettably moved into a unit without having looked at it, as I moved from out of state, and I was looking for a quick move-in. I ended up paying $900/month for a unit that has rotted floors and leaking windows. Additionally, you will always find pieces of the exposed brick and mortar falling onto your furniture, your countertops, and even your bedspread.Be prepared for a lackluster experience and management that has little respect for its tenants. Expect to have rent increases annually without notice if you plan to renew. I am locked in my lease for another 9 months, so wish me luck.
