I called them and I was very pleased with them calling me back in a timely manner and our conversation. I'm planning to set up a time to visit. So far I like what I've heard and seen. Will give my overall review after the visit.

Ive lived here for a while now and havent had any issues really. Any maintenance orders are done in a timely manner. After reading most of these reviews its interesting to see how people want all these work orders completed or have all these issues but do not communicate with the office. Open communication is key. Office staff is awesome, everyones nice, smiles all around when you walk in (that definitely makes a difference), and they actually listen to you and work to make you happy!! Location is great, Im close to everything and rent is reasonable considering your in Richmond so centrally located. Im a happy resident. Communicate people and be nice!

Be careful. They will pull a hard credit report without prior notification or permission. If i would have know this up front I would not have submitted an application with them. Also they basically get to keep $150 in fees that they requested up front and will not reimburse you for.

The apartment is on extremely poor condition--holes worn in the carpet, mold growing behind the tile in the bathroom, poor job on patching and painting the walls after previous tenants. Plus, there are cockroaches! Maintenance is slow to respond and often ignores problems like mold. They told me the mold on my bathroom didn't need to be treated because, it's not mold , it's mildew. Mildew is a type of mold!

Somerset Glen is very old and has cracks and patches across the ceilings, padding under the carpet is very lumpy, door jams are in bad condition in bedroom, and the kitchen cabinets badly need upgrading. My bath tub faucet has been leaking and the shower water pressure is very low. Requests for fixing has gone unanswered. I live there because it is very reasonable for my earnings as a senior citizen.
