I've recently moved into a Collection Apartment within the Fan, and my experience has so far been awful. The apartment I'm renting has one of the most archaic air conditioning units I've ever seen, and it consistently struggles to drop below 80 degrees inside. I've made the collection aware of this, and while they have been sending out mantinience workers to look over the unit and the duct system, nothing they've done has helped. Once they replace my unit and get me some actual functional air conditioning I'll happily remove this review, but until then I have to warn others from signing a lease with a company that doesn't even have functional air conditioning in their apartments.

For the love of God, do not move here. The management is the worst Ive ever seen, and its a shame because the apartments really are nice. You might be thinking, oh well, if the apartments are nice, I can deal with bad management. But thats not true, reader. The management is intrusive, disrespectful, and unprofessional. Today, we are apparently getting a new roof. Its so loud that I cannot work, and we were given no notice. I cannot wait until the new roof is complete so I can throw myself off of it and into traffic.

I wish I could of gave them -5 because I would. We moved into one apartment and had severe mold happen within the first 3 months of living there. (Why would you even let us live with a situation like that is beyond me) Instead of giving me my deposit back they proceeded to put it as a credit on my bills (which that is not okay, being I should of gotten my deposit back in the mail and do as I please) I received $80 back from my deposit. They moved us into another apartment first floor which was much better. My roommate moved out leaving me which over $700 in bills that I took upon myself to pay so I wouldn't get any bad rental history. I PAID ALL OF IT MIND YOU. I asked over and over what all did she owe and I made sure I paid it all. In the middle of this all going on they switched property managers and everything. I had another roommate move in. She paid a total of $550. They proceeded to tell her she was paying for the rest of my prior roommates bills. WHICH I HAD ALREADY PAID IN FULL (They told her is was for her security deposit, app fee etc.) When we moved out we only got $367 of was should of been $367 plus what they owed me prior apartment. We called and called and left messages just to be ignored. They take no pride in making sure you are happy whatsoever. What killed me is they had no idea what they were talking about. The ledger they show you is something they typed up in Excel. So of course they are going to adjust it for their needs. They had no idea what they were talking about. LT and the GM were so rude it was absolutely appalling. Never in my life have I dealt with a apartment complex as bad as them. At the end of the day, they are unorganized, unprofessional and take all your money literally. I wish you the very best whoever decides to lease from them because it will be a nightmare from the very beginning!

Location and apartment layout is great. Maintenance is competent with ordinary problems like a clogged sink, but unable and unwilling to work on more complex problems. Communication from both maintenance and management is extremely poor. I personally have had a large number of water leak issues with the apartment I am in. Communication is so poor that I really do not know when or if they have been addressed. Everything's great as long as nothing goes wrong.
