The tour I took was very helpful, seeing it in person as oppose to online was great. Karen was great and answered all my questions.the grounds appeared well kept and overall looked inviting.

Do not rent from this place. I paid a $150 "reservation fee". I then signed a lease for the unit i wanted. 3 days before i move in i got a call in Florida, while i was attending my brothers funeral, from Karen and she told me the apartment i signed the lease for was not ready. Before i signed the lease for the apartment i wanted i asked Karen if the apartment had new carpet and paint and she said yes. The apartment she put me in was not move on ready and still needs some work. I have enailed 2 local TV stations and i am going to file a complaint with the department of professional regulations. The neighbors upstairs sound like a heard of elephants that does not stop until about 2 AM and throws cigarette butts on my patio and porch that i have complained about and nothing has been done. I am surprised they have done nothing because they had a fire here about 2 years ago caused by cigarettes. I have 9 months left on my lease and i can not wait to get out of here. I wish i would have read all of the reviews before signing the lease

This place was awful. Lived here when the 16 apartments went up in flames, I lost everything I owned then they had the nerve to charge me hundreds for "storing my stuff" after the fire... even though there was nothing but soot and ash left. Never got my money back or the rent money that I paid a couple days before the fire happened. They only care about money. Do not rent here, this is not their first fire! You will regret it! They filed for bankruptcy after the fire so I'm not sure what they're even still doing here anyway.

My wife and I reviewed the reviews prior to applying and were unsure if we would apply due to them being so poor. We went ahead anyhow because it was at the location that we wanted. I called the office multiple times and did not get an answer. I finally spoke with Karen who told me to come down and view the two bedroom apartment that was identical to the one that was available to the one that we wanted. She showed me the apartment and gave me paper applications. This was on a Friday. I told her that I would bring them back Monday morning and she said she would be there. I drove 30 minutes to the office at 10:00AM and there was a sign on the door that said office hours started at 2PM and not 9AM as it showed on their website. I then took it to the headquarters and dropped it off. I called Karen back after 2 PM on the following day and she said we were not approved but couldn't give me any detail other than credit. Both my wife and I have been approved for multiple apartments at a ZERO dollar deposit because of our credit. What was also interesting was that we didn't get any notification that there were any inquiries made to our credit as we have when we applied elsewhere. Moral of the story is we paid 80 dollars for the application fee for nothing. So in the end, we are glad we read the reviews on this complex. Also, the reviews on the property management Kings Property are even worse.
