Washington Park

We had a drip at the kitchen sink and called maintenance at least three times over a week period and it was never fixed. We purchased a new faucet and put it in ourselves. We came home around 7pm one evening and had left our keys inside of the apartment so we were unable to unlock the door. We went to the office and maintenance was there so we asked for a key to get in. He said we would have to hire a locksmith, so we did and that cost $150.

Bad office workers

The good: The people in the office are very nice and helpful, and their maintenance team is really great. Every single time I reported an issue, they were at my door within 10 minutes. The bad: They put out notices about making sure your trash is properly disposed of, but they don't empty the dumpsters nearly as often as needed. At least once a week there is trash spilling out all over the place, it's disgusting. And once the trash compactor broke so they just stopped picking up the trash all together. It was everywhere. On top of that, not so much managements fault, but the people that live there just let their kids throw trash all over the place. I literally had trash outside my window every day. I tried to make my patio look nice and literally every day I was picking trash out of the flowers so I gave up. There is only one entrance to the whole complex, which is fine, but there's no walking path at that entrance. So, if you are walking, you have to walk in the driveway. A girl got hit by a car while I was living there and nothing happened even after that. There is easily space to add a safe walking path, some bushes would need to be removed, but it would be much safer. Lastly, make sure you see your unit before signing. When I first moved in, I got a studio and it was great. Later, I had to move to another unit and I just assumed (stupidly) that it would be of the same quality. They gave me a filthy unit. The walls were stained yellow and there was literally nicotine dripping down the walls, every single counter was scratched and worn, all of the appliances were scratched up, filthy, and so old, it was just awful.

W O R S T - E V E R!!!!!! DON'T COME HERE!!!! There was a SHOOTING, my cars have been vandalized multiple times, my apartment has mold, popcorn swelling, ghosting and sweating on the walls, cracks in the ceiling. Rent for all this "greatness" is a whopping $1500+/month U P D A T E now my truck can't stay but these guys can... I think we're getting a little personal now 🤬
