    Move in really needs to improve. There are many things wrong with our unit and it is only the first day of being at this complex

    The Montair continues to be one of the worst apartment complexes in Tumwater. The apartment buildings are old, and poorly maintained. Maintenance and office personnel are slow to respond and maintenance does not complete work orders on time. The grounds consistently have garbage on them. There is dog poop everywhere you walk and pet policies are not enforced. Actually, if you're looking for a place to live with pets then the Montair is pretty good. Don't tell him what kind of dog you have, don't even tell him how many pets you have and then you can avoid the pet fees. Outside of that there's really very few rules because they don't enforce any of their pet policies. The rents here are very high. They'll tell you that its fair market value, but what they don't take into account is the quality of the apartment itself and the quality of the living experience here. When when you take into account the condition of the apartments, and your quality of living here, then the apartments are way overpriced. You'd be much better off looking into one of the other complex's in the area. Yes, the Montair always has openings but that's because people don't want to live here and they tend to move out before their leases expire. The mere fact that in this day and age were rentals are difficult to find, the Montair always has openings. That should explain to you everything you need to know about why you shouldn't live here.
