Local Reviews

Older homes and small yards, good sense of community, lots of kids around, older homes, green yards, I like that we have our own house

I like the older buildings. I like the parks and trees. I like that I can walk my dog with no problem.

I like living close to work. Favorite local business are me and julios, Great Dane, and Panera. I usually go downtown with my friends.

I like living very close to many restaurants, including the local Chuck E. Cheese's (which is where I work, and also still my favorite restaurant of all time even though I am 21.) I like that people in this neighborhood are nice to each other - I'm not worried that somebody will beat me up, throw a rock at my window, egg my porch, or exclude me from activities on the basis of my disability or anything else. I like that there are sidewalks around here. I like that my neighbors appreciate my chalk drawings in the summer. I like that there are places to make chalk drawings. I like that my apartment is well-maintained by the landlady and her crew. I like that there are lots of stores nearby. I went to James Madison Memorial High School, and was very glad to live within walking distance of it. I like that we have a variety of things to do in this neighborhood. I like that there are some parks nearby. I like that we have bus stops in this area. I like that my apartment is something that my mom can afford for us (she is still in charge of rent while I am in college.) I like that there are both large and small businesses in this neighborhood. I like that I have a balcony. I like how pretty everything looks around here (even despite the litter problem).
